What Are ET and NHI Contact Modalities?

Contact modalities are the different ways people report experiences they interpret as contact or interaction with extraterrestrial intelligence, non-human intelligence or other forms of consciousness.

ET generally means extraterrestrial.

NHI means non-human intelligence, a broader term that does not assume where an intelligence originates or what it may be.

Although physical sightings are probably the most familiar kind of reported contact experience, they are only one category.

People also describe experiences occurring through dreams, meditation, intuition, synchronicity, out-of-body experiences, near-death experiences and other altered states of consciousness.

The Quantum I's monthly Contact Modalities program explores these reports through the larger question of consciousness and perception rather than asking participants to accept a particular explanation.

Does “Contact” Always Mean Seeing a UFO?

No.

Reported contact experiences can take many forms.

Some people describe an unexplained physical observation.

Others report exceptionally vivid or recurring dreams.

Some describe receiving information intuitively, experiencing meaningful synchronicities or encountering apparent intelligences during meditation, near-death experiences or out-of-body states.

A reported experience alone does not establish what caused it.

That distinction matters.

At The Quantum I, the goal isn't to turn an unexplained experience into proof of a particular theory.

The more interesting starting point is:

What happened?

Then:

What did you actually observe?

How Do You Explore Something Without Assuming It's Real—or Imaginary?

Through discernment.

A useful exploration leaves room for multiple possibilities.

It allows us to be curious about extraordinary experiences without abandoning critical thinking.

That's why Contact Modalities is built around a few simple principles:

Experience over belief. Curiosity over certainty. Observation without expectation. Respect for different interpretations. Understanding rather than agreement.

What Happens During Contact Modalities?

Each monthly session focuses on a different form of reported contact or aspect of the phenomenon.

Sessions include an introduction to the topic, a guided Monroe Sound Science or Hemi-Sync experience, time for personal reflection and optional group discussion.

You don't need to identify as a “contactee.”

You don't have to believe extraterrestrial beings are visiting Earth.

And you don't need to convince anyone of anything you've experienced.

You only need to be willing to explore an interesting question:
