5pm Fridays - $1 Learn the Basics - Introductory Class

Each Friday in this introduction class we will cover the basics of meditation from proper sitting techniques through a sample of guided breath and relaxation practices. You'll also have an opportunity to experience our immersive 3d spatial audio, ask questions, and decide if our classes are right for you.

Whether you're a first-timer, you think you'd like to meditate but it sounds intimidating, or if you have years of practice and just want to see if the space is right for you; in this class we will provide you with the foundational knowledge to comfortably experience any of our group classes.

Please note that while you can repeat classes as you'd like, this intro class is structured as a starting point orientation and is meant to be taken once before booking standard group classes.

This is your chance to see if it feels right for you.

Class duration: 30 mins

Dress: comfortable, loose fitting clothing; socks recommended

Equipment: We provide a standard zafu and zabuton meditation cushion set for each participant. Small support cushions and blankets are available to enhance your comfort if needed.

(If you prefer, folding chairs are also available.)

*Please note that for your best experience, we kindly request that you refrain from cellphone use and chatter after entering the quiet zone or while in the meditation room.
