A 30-minute meditation class using gentle vocalization to explore resonance, awareness, and embodied presence.
Vocal Resonance Meditation is a guided practice that uses simple vocal sounds and toning to explore how vibration is felt throughout the body. Participants are invited to work with breath and voice to notice resonance in different areas, supporting relaxation, focus, and a deeper sense of connection to the body.
This class is not about singing or performance. No musical experience is needed. Vocalizations are simple, slow, and optional, with plenty of space to listen and feel.
The session moves through subtle awareness of sound and vibration, allowing participants to notice how attention, breath, and voice interact. The emphasis is on exploration and presence, not effort or outcome.
Vocal Resonance Meditation is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike, and works well as a nervous system reset.
Duration: 30 minutes
Dress: comfortable, loose fitting clothing; socks recommended
Equipment: We provide a standard zafu and zabuton meditation cushion set for each participant. Small support cushions and blankets are available to enhance your comfort if needed.
